End of Life Option Act  -  April 9th at 1:00

The End of Life Option Act became law in California in June of 2016.  Based on a similar act passed in Oregon in 1997, it provides a way for terminally ill patients to make decisions about their healthcare that fit for them.  Village members and volunteers from all villages are invited to a meeting where you can find out about the strengths and limitations of the act.  Please bring your questions and concerns.

Sue Steele, a former board member of Compassion and Choices of California and current board member of Marin Villages, will give an overview of the law and its protocols and follow with questions and a discussion.  Contact Sue Steele, at 415-388-7832 or email xerty.10@gmail.comto reserve a place and for more details.  The location is in a home in Mill Valley near the public library.  Limited to 15 people.
